Who we are

Paola Campagna and Sabastiano Foti

Who are we?
We, who have encountered dance at different moments in our lives, allowing ourselves to be touched by its power and mystery, welcoming it into our deepest space with meditative silence and resounding enthusiasm, integrating it into our daily quest and professional activity.

We have dared to protect it from the countless modern tools and adaptations, supporting its integrity against clumsy attempts at functional fragmentation and superficial application. We recognize in it the physiological structure of all living beings and systems, and for this reason, without any doubt, it is a true healing for the soul and body.

It is the oldest language between peoples and nature, and for this reason, the clearest to our senses. It makes visible the music, showcases the beauty of the body, and tells the harmony of the universe. It imprints on time the extension to eternity, and on space, the expansion to infinity.

Who are we?
We are privileged. We are the ones who glimpse the spirit hidden in this art. We are the ones who can tell our stories and recount through this marvelous vertigo called DANCE.

Paola Campagna

Choreographer, dancer, performer

Paola Campagna has focused her attention and training for years in the artistic field, as a dancer (contemporary dance, Argentine tango), performer, and choreographer.

She continues her research on danced movement in various fields: as a choreographer, she has worked for years with her own group; as a teacher at some academies for actors and professional dancers (Cassiopea, Beatrice Bracco, National Dance Academy); as a Dance Movement Therapist and Somatic Educator, she works in clinical settings (mental health services, community centers).

Her research revolves around the controversial theme of improvisation, which has evolved over the years, contaminating both clinical and artistic territories that complement and enrich one another in the development of a thinking-in-motion approach to human expression.
Furthermore, through the choreographic process, her gaze becomes the tool with which to read and transpose the reality of everyday life.
Her work on improvisation is further enriched by collaborations with jazz and baroque musicians.

Sebastiano Foti

Musician and dancer

Musician and dancer, together with Paola Campagna, has been conducting research in the field of movement for years, enriching the performative aspect of tango with contemporary dance techniques, improvisation, and space management techniques from self-defense.
